Description:
For sale is my 73 Dodge Challenger Ralley with a 440 Big
Block, two 4-barrels, original 4 speed pistol grip, 833
transmission, 8 3/4 posi rear end with 373 gear. The car has
the Ralley package, Ralley instrument cluster, formal black
vinyl roof option, bulge R/T performance hood, rear go-wing,
chrome magnum 500 wheels w/ 14" Daytona white lettered tires,
Hemi orange paint (custom ghost strobe stripes) with black top
& original black interior; a low production model and rare
car.
The car is a true southern car
which has resided in Kentucky most of its life. The car was
totally restored in April of 1999 in which the entire car was
totally disassembled and painted and put back together--this
car has the best of everything. The car has been featured in
local and national muscle magazines and has won best
challenger at the AMCA muscle car nationals. This car is
always the favorite at any car show event--this Challenger can
flex its muscle and the sound of this big block is like no
other.
This Challenger started its life
as a 340-4 Barrel car and the engine was changed over to the
440-two four barrel which came out of a 1969 Road Runner. The
car was ordered without any power options-true muscle power;
manual steering, manual shift, no A/C (it does have power disc
brakes). Has the Ralley suspension upgrade package. The car
its self has 77,000 original miles and the drive train
actually is all rebuilt with 5,000 miles. Under the hood
sports the 440 Magnum engine with two Edelbrock 750 double
pumpers setting on a Torker II aluminum high rise intake.
The motor growls with the help of
a Purple Allen 3/4 cam, MSD Sparker and has been punched 30
over. It all runs out thru a 3" dual stainless exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers. This car is in showroom condition and has
been used as a show car by the last two owners for over 10
years--the car has not been wet since the restoration in 1999.
Always garaged and only comes out in the summer or on a car
hauler for car shows.
You will not find one
nicer--this is a must see beauty. The car is sold as is, where
is with no warranty implied--buyer is responsible for pick-up
and must arrange the transportation. I have a clear Indiana
Title in hand. I may consider partial trade-ins. Price:
$28,999
